Excalibur is the UK and Ireland's only
advanced speaking club. This gives CTMs, or CCs, the chance to take on more
challenging projects with high calibre evaluation to make sure they get the greatest
benefit from their efforts.
We are able to accommodate the longer
projects that are hard to get into a normal club meeting.
|
|
Each member works their way through their
advanced manual at their own pace. We also focus on learning more about
impromptu speaking and evaluation - two of the most valuable business skills.
We also run occasional special education
nights. The last one dealt with handling Questions and Answers at presentations.
|
|
Only what you want to. But we will encourage
you to stretch your skills so that you make the most of the hard work you've put into your
CTM or CC.
As speech projects take a lot of
preparation we have a variety of exercises that are only revealed on the night. So if your
pushed for time you'll still develop your skills.
|
|
Now youve worked your way through
it you have the option to do any of 15 Advanced manuals, which focus on a special form of
speaking such as management, sales, reading , humour and interpersonal communication for
example.
Also you will be able to learn a whole
new set of skills such as leading a meeting, giving balanced feedback and thinking on your
feet.
Theres no limit to what you can
achieve.
